ATLANTA — As the leaves turn this fall, MTM Standard, the student-run music label housed in Georgia State University’s School of Music, is pressing play on a month of new releases from rising artists and a live showcase to close out the term. Throughout the semester, the label has continued its mission of incubating student artists and aspiring music executives, taking their work from the studio to the stage.
From alternative rock to experimental hip-hop, this semester’s releases showcase the range of creativity and artistry within the label’s roster.

The fall has also shown just how far MTM Standard artists can go. Morgan Lett (‘26), a music production and audio recording graduate and former MTM Standard artist, recently took the stage on season 30 of NBC’s “The Voice,” where her soulful blind audition of Mary J. Blige’s “I’m Goin’ Down” turned the chairs of coaches Queen Latifah and Riley Green.
Closer to home, MTM Standard will celebrate a semester of collaboration, music and community by setting the standard at The Masquerade on Thursday, Nov. 12. Featuring performances by Anthony Quamé, Natalie Nicole, John Yesha and more, the free show will put the label’s roster on a prominent Atlanta stage before the semester wraps.
