ATLANTA—When you think of Valentine's Day, you think about love, friendship, admiration — and the romantic voice of Andrea Bocelli. On Feb.10 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, the award-winning Italian tenor will perform "In Concert For Valentine's" featuring the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and a special appearance by the Georgia State University Singers.
The 60-member choir performs alongside Bocelli for an evening of his most romantic music, including songs from his new album, "Believe," as well as a selection of arias, crossover hits and famed love songs. It will be the third time the award-winning University Singers have performed with Bocelli.
"This concert is a wonderful opportunity for our students to collaborate alongside professional musicians in the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and with internationally renowned tenor, Andrea Bocelli, "said Dr. Deanna Joseph, Director of Choral Activities. "Collaborations of this level are musically fulfilling, raise our artistic standards and teach our students the challenges and rewards of performing on a professional level. It's always an honor to receive these invitations."

Georgia State University Singers is the School of Music's premier vocal ensemble. Selected by competitive audition, the choir represents the diverse population of Georgia State. The choir entertained millions on the blockbuster AMC television series "The Walking Dead" and received the top prize at the prestigious 2017 Marktoberdorf International Chamber Choir Competition in Germany. In December, the University Singers was the featured choir for the Sarah Brightman: A Christmas Symphony holiday concert at the Fox Theater.
Andrea Bocelli is one of the world's most recognizable voices with more than 90 million records sold worldwide, multiple GRAMMY® Award nominations and numerous awards including two Billboards, six BRIT Awards and seven World Music Awards.
