ATLANTA—The College of the Arts at Georgia State is pleased to present the recipients of the 2017-2018 Faculty Awards for exceptional achievements in their respective areas of arts research and creative activity.
The college presents three faculty awards each academic year. The Outstanding Senior Faculty Award in Research/Creative Activity recognizes a tenured professor or tenured associate professor, the Outstanding Junior Faculty Award in Research/Creative Activity recognizes an assistant professor, and the Outstanding Teaching Award recognizes a regular, full-time faculty member. Each recipient is nominated and selected by their peers according to robust criteria which considers publishing, exhibiting, presenting and performing among other scholarly and artistic contributions to their field.
“These recipients are recognized for their superior accomplishments and exceptional commitment to our students,” said Dean Wade Weast, College of the Arts. “I congratulate each of them for their well-deserved recognition.”
