Over a summer, Francesca Hahn fulfilled a management course requirement at Georgia State’s Robinson College of Business. She intended to transfer the credit to her home institution but enjoyed the class more than expected.
“I was really impressed because the professor had real-life experience,” she said. “It made me change schools.”
Hahn graduated from Robinson with a B.B.A. in management in 1999 and still leverages the skills she developed throughout her studies: analytics and modeling knowledge from statistics courses and presentation acumen from group assignments.
“Local companies engaged with us on team projects that were rooted in Atlanta industries,” she said. “The networking and practical learning helped me launch my career.”
Hahn now serves as vice president of omnichannel sales at global snack company Mondelēz International. The umbrella of brands includes Oreo, Ritz, and belVita. Her personal headline is “Connecting people to the future of snacking,” meaning she examines consumer behavior via data analytics, adapts when market conditions change, and ultimately connects customers with products both in-store and online.

In addition to her full-time role, Hahn is executive sponsor of the women’s employee resource group (ERG) at Mondelēz North America. She helped start a similar initiative at Colgate, where she spent 11.5 years.
“I have a strong passion for that kind of work,” she said.
Upon landing her job at Mondelēz in 2021, Hahn relocated to the Indianapolis area. Four years later, she’s considered a top mover and shaker in the state: Women We Admire listed her in its 2025 roundup of “The Top 50 Women Leaders of Indiana.”
That summer class at Robinson did more than meet a course credit. It introduced Hahn to the impact of applied education.
“Robinson offered a variety of classes and leadership opportunities so I could establish the basis to succeed in the world,” she said.
