ATLANTA—More than 50 student research teams will take part in the 10th Annual Lewis College Research Conference. The conference is open to the GSU community, our clinical partners and anyone interested in learning about how Lewis College’s research is tackling the healthcare challenges of the present and the future. Attendees are asked to RSVP with the QR code below.
“This year we had 70 teams submit posters for consideration” said Sujay Galen, Ph.D., associate dean of research at Lewis College. “We chose 57 of them to be displayed. There are so many great research projects for our students to be a part of at GSU. We really encourage our students to get involved in research because research and evidence based practice will always be a part of their healthcare career.”
The conference is Wednesday, April 2 from 3:30 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. in room 220 of the Urban Life building. Top posters are recognized at the undergraduate and graduate levels at the end of the conference.
This year’s keynote speaker is Gordon Warren, Ph.D., professor of physical therapy. His keynote is titled, “We Were Stupid Back Then! How Our Thoughts About Muscle Injury Have Changed Over the Last Four Decades.”
