Jonathan Key, Graduate Advisor in the Office of Academic Assistance, says he is most proud of his work to assist students as they progress through their School of Public Health programs.
When did you join the School of Public Health, and what do you enjoy about working here?
I started in late April of 2017 in the School of Public Health as the undergraduate advisor. Then in the fall 2021 semester I began working as the graduate advisor. I enjoy working with the students, the faculty and staff and everyone in my office.
What’s a typical workday for you like?
Once I am in the office, I start my day by reviewing my email inbox and following up to those emails. Then I will have advisement appointment throughout the day and work on other projects that I may have going on at the time.
What about your work are you most proud of?
I am most proud of working with the students and assisting them while they are in their graduate programs.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
I enjoy going to concerts, going to or watching sporting events and, when the temperatures are cooler, going to the mountains for a day hike.
