ATLANTA – Seven hundred eighty-seven students graduated from Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business during spring 2024 commencement exercises, with 585 earning Bachelor of Business Administration degrees (May 2), 175 earning master’s degrees (May 1), and 27 earning doctoral degrees (May 3 and May 6).
Regynald G. Washington, hospitality industry titan, philanthropist, and champion for education, was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Business Administration at Robinson’s undergraduate commencement ceremony on May 2. Washington, a trustee of the Georgia State University Foundation, has a longstanding relationship with Robinson and Georgia State. In 2015, he endowed the Regynald G. Washington Master of Global Hospitality Management with a gift of $1,000,000 to the Cecil B. Day School of Hospitality Administration.
Robinson’s graduating class of spring 2024 encompasses multiple generations, nationalities, and U.S. states. They join the college’s 80,000-strong alumni community.
