Two new administrators have joined the staff of the Honors College at Georgia State University—one leading the Honors College at Perimeter College and the other overseeing development and fundraising at the downtown Atlanta campus.
Dr. Lauri Goodling will serve as associate dean of the Honors College at Perimeter’s six campuses, in addition to her role as assistant professor of English. With 17 years’ experience as a faculty member at Perimeter, Goodling has taught an array of English courses, worked with student publications and faculty reviews, and conducted research on topics ranging from digital literacy to civic engagement.
Telly McGaha will serve as director of development. McGaha has more than 20 years of experience in securing philanthropic support for higher education and various organizations, such as Lutheran Immigration & Refugee Services and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington. A native of Kentucky, he enjoys running and has lived and traveled in major cities across the United States and abroad.
“I am pleased to welcome Dr. Lauri Goodling and Telly McGaha to our team,” said Honors College Dean Larry Berman. “They exemplify the Honors College ethos and are well underway in efforts to strengthen and enhance the Honors College community."
