More than 45 Master of Public Health and one Ph.D. student graduated from the School of Public Health at Georgia State University during the Fall 2017 Convocation.
Student speaker Michelle Livings earned her MPH in Biostatistics. Throughout her studies, she worked as a graduate research assistant for Dr. Betty Lai, assistant professor of epidemiology and biostatistics, helping to validate a screening tool for child sex trafficking.
Alumni speaker Courtney Jones, MPH '10, is a senior training specialist at the National SafeCare Training and Resource Center.
