DECATUR, Ga. — Perimeter College at Georgia State University will host its fall commencement ceremony at the Georgia State Convocation Center on Thursday, Dec. 18, at 2 p.m.
The event will be held in conjunction with graduates from Georgia State’s Andrew Young School of Policy Studies and the College of Education & Human Development, with Perimeter recognizing an approximate 670 candidates who will receive their associate degree from one of the state’s largest two-year colleges.
Krish Keshwani studied business administration at Perimeter and is among those graduating. Keshwani made the most of his time while at the college, participating in various campus clubs and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. He also received multiple awards, including the Dean’s and Business Administration Student of the Year recognitions during Perimeter’s annual Student Academic Recognition Awards ceremony.

Krish Keshwani will graduate with honors from Perimeter College.
After graduating with honors from the college, Keshwani will transition to GSU’s Atlanta Campus, where he’ll study finance.
“Graduating from Perimeter College really feels like everything is coming together,” Keshwani said.
“I came here as an international student just trying to figure things out, and now I’m leaving with a 3.8 GPA, a community that believed in me and a future I’m genuinely excited for.”
Barbara J. Johnson, Ph.D., is dean of Perimeter College.
“I am incredibly happy for the Class of 2025,” Johnson said.
“Graduates like Krish have demonstrated considerable commitment in order to get to the graduation finish line. On behalf of Perimeter College, I congratulate him and each and every graduate for reaching this tremendous milestone.”
Perimeter College offers more than 30 academic pathways leading to an associate of arts or associate of science degree. Business administration, computer science, health science professions, nursing and psychology are among the top picks for students.
More than 40 percent of Perimeter’s Fall Class of 2025 are the first in their families to graduate from college.

Jimena Esparza, Business Administration pathway graduate
“It feels surreal to be earning a degree and to be the first in my family ever to do it,” said Jimena Esparza who will graduate after studying in the Business Administration pathway.
“I feel very proud of myself, and I hope to make a great impact with my degree.”
Georgia State President M. Brian Blake, Nicolle Parsons-Pollard, Ph.D., provost and executive vice president for academic affairs, Dr. Allison Calhoun-Brown, Ph.D., senior vice president of student success and Dr. Michael Sanseviro, Ph.D., vice president for student engagement, are among the university leaders who, along with Johnson, will celebrate Perimeter’s fall graduates during the December ceremony.
