The University Library system welcomes back to Perimeter College Angiah Davis as the new department head for Clarkston Campus. Davis previously worked at the Dunwoody Campus as a Learning and Engagement Librarian.
Davis, an Atlanta native, has over 15 years of experience in academic libraries and most recently served as the library director at Gordon State College. She obtained a Master of Library and Information Studies degree from Florida State University and a bachelor’s in mass communications from the State University of West Georgia. So good to have you back at Perimeter, Angiah Davis.
Kudos to our colleagues at the Prevention Research Center housed at Clarkston Campus for the great work they’re doing in the community. Their efforts received recognition in a recent article for Georgia State’s Research Magazine. Check it out here.
Congratulations to Deepa Muralidhar, instructor of computer science! In January, she successfully defended her dissertation, becoming Dr. Muralidhar. She pursued the doctoral degree in computer science at Georgia State via Perimeter’s Pathways to Attaining the Doctoral Degree (PADD) program. Dr. Muralidhar made an enthusiastic announcement on LinkedIn, thanking her GSU Perimeter College “family” for their support.
