ATLANTA—Georgia State University College of Law has the highest bar passage rate in Georgia based on results for the February 2020 exam.
The College of Law’s rate was 88.9 percent for first-time test takers and 84.2 percent overall. This puts the College of Law ahead of all other Georgia law schools and the overall state average of 60 percent.
For repeat takers, Georgia State’s rate of 80 percent exceeded the 32.8 percent pass rate for Georgia law schools overall.
Leslie Wolf, interim dean of the College of Law, attributed the school’s performance to the strong academic preparation and support the school provides and the hard-work each graduate put in.
“We strive to develop a community at Georgia State Law that creates space for students to thrive,” Wolf said. “We are so proud of our amazing students, and we look forward to celebrating their successes with them throughout their careers.”
The College of Law was also recently ranked by the U.S. News & World Report No. 2 in Health Law and No. 10 in Part-time programs and received “Best Building” recognition by the National Jurist. View other rankings and recognition.
