Anjel Burgess (J.D. ’08) was recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine for the second consecutive year as one of the state’s top 5 percent in their annual issue. She also earned a spot on Georgia Trend Magazine’s annual list of the State’s Legal Elite for the third consecutive year.
Miltonette Craig (J.D. ’09) was 1 of only 15 scholars to be nationally recognized as a 2020 Emerging Scholar by Diverse: Issues in Higher Education.
Scott C. Crowley (J.D. ’95) has joined Shumaker Loop & Kendrick LLP as an attorney and partner. He is based in the Charleston office and is with the health care practice group.
Jeff Davis (J.D. ’91) is stepping down as executive director of the State Bar of Georgia to become a partner at Taylor English Duma.
Stephanie Everett (J.D. ’02), president of Lawyerist, has been named one of the Top Women in Legal Tech for 2020.
Alexander Hegner (J.D. ’19) joined Carlton Fields as an associate in Atlanta.
Jason P. Grier (J.D. ’09) was elected to the BakerHostetler partnership.
Dawn M. Jones (J.D. ’00) will be the president of the State Bar of Georgia starting July 1, 2020.
John “Trea” Pipkin III (J.D. ’95) was appointed to the Georgia Court of Appeals.
Laurice Rutledge Lambert (J.D. ’10) was elected to the partnership with BakerHostetler.
Alisa Micu (J.D. ’19) has joined Stites & Harbison, PLLC.
Robert Rohr (J.D. ’90) named director at Arizona Health Center.
Frank Schneider (J.D. ’99) received the IRS Criminal Chief’s Investigative Excellence Award award.
Carly Alford Smith (J.D. ’13) has joined Jamestown as Counsel.
Dawn R. Smith (J.D. ’89) has been named to the list of Top 50 Women Georgia Super Lawyers and Top 100 Georgia Super Lawyers.
R. Gordon Sproule, Jr. (J.D. ’96) was named to the 2019 Mid-South Super Lawyers listings. Only 5% of attorneys in the Mid-South receive the Super Lawyers distinction.
Adam Strotman (J.D. ’19) accepted a position as Regulatory Counsel with the Food & Drug Administration, Center for Tobacco Products, Office of Compliance & Enforcement.
