ATLANTA‒The Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) program at Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business is the top public university program in the Southeast, and 4th in the region, according to the Financial Times.
In the Financial Times’ new rankings of the world’s top 100 programs, the Robinson EMBA is 18th among U.S.-based programs and 83rd globally. The program ranked behind Duke, Emory and Vanderbilt universities in the Southeast.
The British publication determines its annual rankings by surveying schools and EMBA program alumni who graduated three years prior. The class of 2016 was surveyed for this year’s rankings.
“We are proud the Financial Times ranks Robinson’s Executive MBA among the world’s elite programs,” said Robinson College Dean Richard Phillips. “Our standing is a testament to the stature of our program and its alumni, many of whom are at the forefront of business.”
The 17-month Robinson College EMBA creates executive leaders who can respond to the complex issues facing businesses, develop the critical thinking and problem-solving skills to recognize and pursue business opportunities, build effective teams and integrate functions, and cultivate and apply global competencies during an international residency. Students work with a personal leadership coach to identify their current leadership attributes, determine skills needed to reach their goals and develop a plan to realize their potential.
