- Toby Bolsen, associate professor of American politics and political science.
- Jennifer McCoy, Distinguished University Professor of political science.
- John McMillian, associate professor of history.
Toby Bolsen
Department of Political Science
Bolsen’s research focuses on the study of political behavior, preference formation, political communication, experimental methods, and U.S. energy policy and climate change. His work has been published in numerous outlets such as the American Journal of Political Science and the Journal of Communication.
Jennifer McCoy
Department of Political Science
McCoy specializes in polarized democracies, mediation and conflict prevention, election processes and election observation, and Latin American politics. She has authored and edited six books and many articles, and she teaches courses on comparative democratization, international norms, and Latin American politics.
John McMillian
Department of History
McMillian concentrates on 20th century American history, with an emphasis on the 1960s and 1970s. His work has appeared in scholarly journals, magazines and major newspapers.
The Provost’s Faculty Research Fellowships aid faculty members who are pursuing prestigious and funded fellowship awards to support their research. The fellowship will provide one-semester teaching buyouts and related support to facilitate their completion for the best international and national fellowships and awards. This is particularly important in the humanities, arts and professional disciplines where external research funding is less common.
