Kristie Seelman’s research explores LGBTQ health and health disparities, policy, and the effects of anti-LGBTQ discrimination on health and well-being. Her research has examined how anti-transgender bathroom policies are associated with greater risk of suicidality in college students, as well as unequal treatment of transgender individuals in domestic violence and rape crisis programs. She is also researching challenges faced by older sexual minority adults facing health challenges and aging-related care.
