ATLANTA — The online B.B.A. offered by Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business is ranked among the nation’s top-10 programs in the 2025 “Best Online Programs” edition of U.S. News & World Report, released today (Jan. 21). Ranked 8th in the U.S., it is the highest-ranked program in Georgia, and 3rd in the Southeast. This is the first year the Georgia State program is ranked.
The publication’s online B.B.A. rankings are based on peer assessment surveys and important metrics such as available services for online students, faculty credentials that match those of the in-person program, and program designs that promote online students engaging with faculty, content, and each other. Two-hundred-nineteen online B.B.A. programs are included in the 2025 rankings.
“We are gratified our online B.B.A is held in such high regard,” said Robinson College Dean Richard Phillips. “Since its introduction in 2020, we have worked hard to ensure the excellence and value of our online program is every bit as outstanding as our in-person program.”
Robinson’s Online B.B.A. Degree Completion Program allows students to complete their undergraduate studies at their own pace. Majors include business analytics, finance, hospitality, marketing, and supply chain and operations management. Students can apply credits earned through an associate degree or an undergraduate business program at another institution.
“We developed our high-touch, flexible approach from the ground up to meet the specific needs of online students, who benefit from the same 1:1 faculty access and career advancement opportunities as students in Robinson’s traditional B.B.A. program,” stated Ritu Lohtia, director of the Online B.B.A. Completion Program.
