ATLANTA – Alumnus and business leader Patrick Carey has joined the Board of Advisors of Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business.
Carey (B.B.A. ’86) is Head of Consumer & Small Business Credit at Bank of America, where he is also a member of the company’s Global Diversity and Inclusion Council. Carey represents Bank of America on the boards of the Mortgage Bankers Association and Christos Ministries.
In 2019 Carey was inducted into the Executive Leadership Council (ELC), an organization committed to advancing the role and contributions of Black executives and preparing the next generation of corporate leaders.
“It’s an honor to work with such an esteemed and diverse group of colleagues as we plan for the future. I look forward to sharing my perspectives as we continue to advance and evolve curriculum and career opportunities for Robinson College students to prepare them to lead in business and in their communities,” said Carey.
“The support provided by the college’s Board of Advisors is invaluable,” said Robinson Dean Richard Phillips. “They provide unique perspectives on emerging marketplace needs, engage with our students to help them thrive, and are passionate donors supporting the mission of Georgia State and Robinson.”
The Robinson College Board of Advisors champions the college’s mission to prepare people from all backgrounds to lead, innovate, and achieve their potential to advance business and society.
