Dion Webb-Figueroa Named Director of Undergraduate Student Engagement

ATLANTA – Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business has appointed Dion Webb-Figueroa as director of undergraduate student engagement. He is a longtime student affairs professional with deep expertise in student engagement and involvement.

Webb-Figueroa came to Robinson from Emory University, where he was associate director of student organizations and governance. He previously held student engagement positions with Florida Gulf Coast University, California State University-San Bernardino, and Miami Dade College, among others.

“Dion is a tremendous addition to Robinson’s undergraduate team,” said Colleen Joyce, senior director, office of academic assistance “He is an accomplished student engagement professional who is passionate about enhancing the student experience.”

“I’m excited to join the Robinson College family and I look forward to learning about the culture and meeting the students. I can’t wait to get started on this new chapter as a Georgia State Panther.”

Dion Webb-Figueroa holds an M.A. from the University of Central Florida and a B.S. from the University of Cincinnati. He is active in 100 Black Men of America, Inc. and the National Association for Student Personnel Administrators.
