An accomplished oboist who teaches Fundamentals of Music Theory and the Music, Society and Culture survey in addition to Applied Oboe, Dr. Dahl has been at Georgia State University for seventeen years and achieved the rank of Principal Senior Lecturer in 2019. In the School of Music, she has served as the woodwind coordinator for the last four years and as graduate director for the last two. At the university level, Dr. Dahl has recently served on an ad hoc committee to choose the recipient of the Outstanding NTT Faculty Achievement Award.
“I am thrilled to be selected as the Non-Tenure-Track Faculty Advocate for the College of the Arts! I am passionate about collaborating with NTT faculty to facilitate communication about available opportunities to NTT-rank faculty members and to help develop faculty initiatives for my NTT colleagues,” said Dr. Dahl. “I look forward to working with the accomplished and talented NTT faculty across the schools of Art & Design, Film, Media & Theatre, and Music as we continue to support and build strong programs for our students.”
