ATLANTA – Catherine Neiner, director of University Career Services at Georgia State, will be inducted into the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Academy of Fellows June 8.
Founded in 1956, NACE is a professional association that connects more than 13,700 college career services professionals, university relations and recruiting professionals.
“I am very proud and humbled to be recognized in my profession in this way,” Neiner said. “This award is truly a highlight of my career. It has been my privilege to have been able to make an impact on students’ futures through my work over these years.”
Before joining Georgia State, Neiner was the director, career planning at Agnes Scott College and was the director of career services at Georgia Tech.
“The Academy of Fellows recognizes individuals who have contributed to the profession through the advancement of knowledge, leadership, or excellence in professional practice,” said David Ong, NACE president. “Catherine’s open-mindedness and leadership style has positively impacted so many in our profession.”
