Caroline MacMillan, M.S. in Finance
FP&A analyst, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics
Why did you choose Robinson for your graduate education?
Robinson's Master of Science in Finance program caught my attention with its focus on data analytics and financial economics. I liked that the program offers a STEM-based curriculum in a cohort format.
How will the degree propel your career goals?
The program will strengthen my understanding of finance and strategy, develop my financial modeling and analytical skills, and prepare me for leadership.
What unique background and perspectives will you bring to classroom discussions?
In my current FP&A role, I've gained experience with various financial models, financial reporting processes, and process automation. I think this experience will be a good starting point for learning about data analytics and financial modeling.
What’s the biggest risk you’ve ever taken?
I let my husband drive a tiny rental car through the Scottish Highlands on our honeymoon. It was his first time driving on the left side of the road—narrow, mountain roads—and it was raining buckets. Despite the drama, we enjoyed the views and stayed safe.
