Four graduates of the Honors College at Georgia State University are recipients of the university’s Alumni Association 40 Under 40 award, which recognizes the most influential and innovative alumni who are younger than 40.
The 2019 class of 40 Under 40 awardees includes Erinn King (B.A. ’12), who rose from flight attendant to strategic communications manager at Delta Airlines; Almeera Jiwa Pratt (B.A. ’13), a founding member of the Honors College Young Alumni Board and content manager at LinkedIn; Josh Sanders (B.A. & B.B.A. ’13, M.P.A. ’14), a manager in PwD’s Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services; and Mackenzie Zorrilla (B.B.A. ’15), an international corporate account manager at UPS.
The 2019 40 Under 40 alumni will be honored at an awards ceremony and reception on March 28 at The Fairmont.
Erinn King
Erinn King has risen the ranks at Delta Airlines since starting there as a flight attendant in 2013. After a series of promotions, she now works as a strategic communications manager for their Operations Customer Center.
Josh Sanders
Josh Sanders earned three degrees as an undergraduate at Georgia State University—the first in Honors College history to manage that feat—and he hasn’t slowed down since. As a manager in PwC’s Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Services, he advises and serves multi-national, publicly traded companies.
Almeera Jiwa Pratt
Almeera Jiwa Pratt has spent most of her career in public relations and marketing, helping high-profile clients with their communications and branding. Pratt currently works as an associate content manager at LinkedIn, where she curates online learning courses for business skills. She also has an extensive background in the film industry, working as an actor and producer for shows on major networks.
Mackenzie Zorilla
Mackenzie Zorilla’s transition from a small town to Georgia State University’s urban campus—and the international experiences she had through college—led her to a career that guaranteed travel. Zorilla turned an accounting internship with UPS into a full-time job, where she currently works as an international corporate accounting manager.
