Manoj Mishra (J.D. ’02) works in strategic customer engagement for Amazon web services. He is a senior business executive and attorney with nearly 15 years background in managing world-class teams.
Prior to Amazon, he was director of Field Operations & Strategic Deals for North American and European Financial Institutions for ACI Worldwide, which provides banking and payment solutions and powers electronic payments for more than 5,000 organizations around the world.
After graduating from law school, he joined a small corporate and estate-planning boutique in Duluth, Robertson & Gable, where he practiced corporate law, contracts, and commercial real estate transactions. He then worked in-house at SAP America Inc., one of the largest business software solutions providers in the world.
Mishra is a strong supporter of Georgia State Law, where the R. P. Mishra & Annamma P. Mishra Law Scholarship (named in honor of his parents) has been endowed since 2015. In addition, five rooms at the College of Law bear the Mishra, and he served as member of the college’s Law Alumni Council for many years.
He was also a recipient of the 2015 Georgia Asian Pacific American Bar Association “Rising Star” Award. He received a B.A. in history from Loyola University.
Born in New Delhi, Mishra emigrated to the U.S. with his family at the age of 3. “In many ways, [my parents’] entire youth has been one big sacrifice for the opportunity to create a better life for our family and especially me. Thus, I was diligent with my studies and with my parent’s encouragement pursued college and a law degree. I have no doubt that I would never have the success I do have without their unwavering love and support.”
