When did you join the School of Public Health, and what do you enjoy about working here?
I joined the School of Public Health in January 2022 and I most enjoy working with the incredible students here.
What’s a typical workday for you like?
My typical workday involves supervising Dr. Claire Spears’ Atlanta-based smoking cessation research study. Our research program is an amazing resource for those attempting to quit smoking cigarettes.
What about your work are you most proud of?
I'm most proud of the positive impact our research study has on the broader Atlanta community. Many people in our program are lifetime Atlanta residents who have been trying to quit cigarettes for a long time and are deeply grateful for the structured support.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
When not at work I enjoy weightlifting and am an electric violinist in a local band. I also am a moderator for DragonCon.
