ATLANTA–Six individuals were honored on Nov. 16 at the 15th annual J. Mack Robinson College of Business Alumni Awards Celebration.
Five of the recipients are Robinson College alumni; one is an honorary alumna. Among them, they represent communications, media, and automotive services; manufacturing; real estate; investment management and non-profit support for girls and women.
Hall of Fame Award–John M. Dyer (MBA ’87), President and CEO, Cox Enterprises, Inc.
Distinguished Alumnus Award–Frank H. Boykin (BBA ’78), Chief Financial Officer, Mohawk Industries, Inc.
Distinguished Alumnus Award–T. Dallas Smith (BBA ’86), President and CEO, T. Dallas Smith & Company
Alumnus Award for Service–Michael S. Shannon (MBA ’81), Managing Principal, Liquid Strategies, LLC
Outstanding Young Alumna Award–Karen D. Betancourt (MBA ’09), Senior Manager/Strategic Programs and Technology, Amazon.com
Honorary Alumna Award–Enid L. Draluck, Executive Director, Full Circle Living, Inc.
“It’s thrilling to recognize alumni and honorary alumni whose careers in business, service to the community, and service to the Robinson College and Georgia State University are an inspiration to all of us, especially to our students,” said Robinson College Dean Richard Phillips.
Michael Marto (MBA ’86) served as master of ceremonies of the event, which was held at Mason Fine Art. Ninety-four individuals have received Robinson College Alumni Awards since the recognition was introduced in 2003.
