Join Jeana Griffith from Georgia State University Counseling Services, who will show students how to read smarter, take notes more efficiently and other strategies for fitting it all in as a graduate student.

Dissertation Formatting
Carla Woods from the CEHD's Office of Academic Assistance and Graduate Admissions and Tim Merritt from Georgia State University's Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning will explain how to organize and format a dissertation for electronic submission to the university. Mindfulness Graduate Student Workshop
Mindfulness is a mental state achieved by focusing one’s awareness on the present moment. In this workshop, Ken Rice and Stephen Fusco from the Department of Counseling and Psychological Services will demonstrate mindfulness exercises and show students how to be more present.
